A Shine of Rainbows Precious story about an orphan boy that is adopted by a childless couple in Ireland. The film brings to light what being loved and accepted can do to transform lonliness and timidity into joyfulness and confidence in the heart of a child. Warning though, this one had my 7 year old unexpectedly start sobbing. But, giggles came through the tears as he looked around at each of us to find that he was not alone. Have tissues handy. A great movie, but may be emotionally heavy for little ones.
