The Island on Bird Street Based on the true story shared in a children's book by Uri Orlev, this kid version of The Pianist (another amazing story of survival, but with lots of very foul language) is an amazing story of survival during the Nazi holocost. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this touching story and were inspired by this little boy with a pet mouse and his incredible ingenuity. I highly recommend this movie!
BUT...not without first warning that it is rated PG-13 for violence..AND there is one scene where the little boy's naked backside was exposed while taking a shower.
